Never criticize your last job or your
former supervisor or employer. A long list of complaints about past working conditions or about personality conflicts with
coworkers marks you immediately as a potential troublemaker. Even though you may have been in an extremely bad situation,
downplay it.
Script answers that explain why you left your last job or are thinking of leaving. For
example, you might say, "I had gone as far as I could go in the company." "I'm seeking a position with
more responsibility."
